A Little About Me...

¡Hola! Ciao. Hello. I'm Kathleen Costello, and I'll be your tour guide. I bet you're wondering why you should book your next vacation with Costello Tours. Well, let me tell you a little about myself. Although my own journey started in a small Minnesota town, I have lived, taught, and traveled widely throughout the Spanish-speaking world and beyond en route to earning a Ph.D. in Spanish. I am an award-winning teacher based in Los Angeles where I get to interact with a wide range of people and languages on a daily basis. I am also a former college professor, college athlete, cheesemonger, international music blogger, and bartender at a wine bar. I have taught or studied in Colombia, Spain, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, and Italy. As you can imagine, I am also an avid traveler and can frequently be found in other countries discovering hidden gems, admiring architectural wonders, savoring delicious meals, experiencing the thrill of a live music, art, or sporting event, cycling the countryside, ambling through vibrant city streets, and meeting fascinating people along the way. My life has been indelibly enriched by my experiences with other cultures and by learning to communicate with people across diverse languages and backgrounds, and now I want to help you experience this as well. Are you in need of a thoroughly enjoyable vacation? Do you want to be part of creating more positive connections in the world through travel?
I thought so. So let’s get started.
