Siracusa, Noto, Marzamemi, Modica, Ragusa Ibla, Catania, Etna, Taormina

What better way to start your summer than with a handcrafted trip to the exceptional island of Sicily? For the first 4 nights we'll stay near beautiful Siracusa with its stunning ocean vistas and interior walkable island of Ortigia, and use it as our base. From there we'll day trip to the city of Noto, the Baroque capital of Sicily. Then we'll enjoy a relaxing beach day near the historic fishing village of Marzamemi and the beaches of the Vendicari Reserve with an optional boat cruise. Next we'll head to the city of Ragusa Ibla, a Unesco World Heritage Site, where we'll partake in a cooking class, followed by Modica and its world-renowned chocolate. We'll finish with 3 nights in the beach resort area of Giardini Naxos where we'll spend a day in the vibrant city of Catania, a day visiting the volcanic region of Mt. Etna where we'll sample the wines at a local vineyard, and our last day visiting the beautiful city of Taormina, known for it's Greco-Roman amphitheater, international film festival, and luxury hotels. All the while you can improve your Italian by speaking  with our local guides if you choose (but, don't worry, no knowledge of Italian is necessary). Sound enticing? Head to the Registration page to secure your spot. Click "Read More" for prices and full itinerary.

A Few Important Things to Note:

Before booking one of our tours, there are a few important things to note.

01

Be Prepared to Walk!

In each city, we walk to many of the sites we visit. The walking time is usually about 15-25 minutes at a leisurely pace. You will always have the option to take a taxi or other form of transportation, but it will be at your own expense.

04

Local Tour Operators

For some day trips and excursions, we take advantage of local third-party tour companies. All of the tour operators we work with have been personally vetted by us.

02

Your luggage

As we are a small tour operation, we expect our clients to handle their own luggage when necessary (i.e. at the airport, when getting on the train, etc.). If you have more than one large suitcase and a carry on, you may need to pay an additional fee for flights taken within the destination country.

05

Music, Movies, Books!

Before each trip, we send you a curated list of music to listen to, movies to watch, and books to read to prepare you for your destination. All optional of course!

03

Daily Schedule

Our tours are a mix of scheduled activities and free time as we prefer to give you some time to explore and dine on your own. We usually schedule 1 or 2 primary activities for each day and group meals on some days, but everything is optional. We always include an orientation walking tour on the first day in a new city and give you plenty of recommendations! For more information on a typical tour itinerary, see the "Read More" sections above.
